A natural Xiuyan jade roller with a matching gua sha stone. Jade stays cool against the skin, which is most of the point. The rest is slow, deliberate pressure.
How to use
Apply an oil or serum first. Never drag either tool across dry skin.
Work outward and downward — from the centre of the face toward the ears, then down the neck.
Light pressure, five to ten minutes. Harder is not better.
What it's for
- Morning puffiness. Cool stone plus downward strokes along the jaw and neck is the classic use, and the one people stick with.
- Tension you didn't know you had. The gua sha edge works along the jaw and temples, where clenching collects.
- Making products go further. Roll after a serum or oil and it spreads across the skin instead of sinking into your fingertips.
