A 540-pin derma roller in six needle lengths. The length you pick matters far more than the roller itself, and most people buy one that is too long.
Using it safely
Disinfect the head in surgical spirit for five to ten minutes before and after every use, and let it air dry.
Clean, dry, bare skin. No actives, no makeup.
Roll four to six times in each direction — vertical, horizontal, diagonal — with light pressure. Lift between passes rather than dragging.
Afterwards use something plain. No retinol, no acids, no vitamin C for at least 24 hours.
Sunscreen the next day, without exception.
Which length
- 0.25mm — the one to buy if you are not sure. Works on product absorption and surface texture. Can be used often, with minimal downtime.
- 0.5mm — occasional use on texture and marks. Expect redness for a day.
- 0.75mm and 1.0mm — experienced users only, once a month at most, with proper aftercare.
- 1.5mm and 2.0mm — professional lengths. We stock them because people ask for them, but they are not a beginner purchase and they carry a real risk of scarring, infection and pigment change when used at home. If you have not used a roller before, do not start here.
When not to use it
Skip it entirely over active acne, cold sores, eczema, psoriasis, moles, or broken and sunburnt skin. Rolling over an active breakout spreads bacteria across your face. Replace the head after around ten uses, because blunt needles tear rather than pierce. Never share a roller with anyone.
